Vanessa Bryant has inspired many together with her bravery since that horrific day on Jan 20 2020. Her husband, basketball legend Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna have been amongst seven others who died in a tragic helicopter crash.
More than a year later, Vanessa posted a lovely image of her daughter Gigi.
She captioned the photo: "My beauty. Gianna. Mambacita."
A fan commented at the photo writing: "The way you handle your grief is powerful...I've lost loved ones close to me and can't seem to forgive God for taking them and yet you lost your baby girl and the love of your life and have your faith still...much love to you and your girls."
Vanessa answered: "It's okay I understand. I haven't forgiven God either. Our priest said that's okay. He can handle that."
Another fan wrote: "I admire the way you deal with your grief. I am still unable to took at photos."
Vanessa has since disabled the comments at the photograph of Gigi, but prior to she did she replied to the fan.
"I can only look at photos on my own time. I can't look at photos by surprise. I think some people can't separate the two. My friends and family are really good at waiting for me to mention or post pics. Take your time and do things when your comfortable. Everyday is a different story."
Vanessa, 38, just lately unfolded about how she has coped with the sudden lack of her husband and daughter. The perpetually mom of 4 says she is specializing in "finding the light in darkness" as she graces the duvet of People magazine.
"Lying in bed crying isn't going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that's what I do."
Bryant says she now puts her time and power into daughters Natalia, 18, Bianka, four, and Capri, 20 months outdated.
"My girls help me smile through the pain. They give me strength," Vanessa published to the mag.
Vanessa stated some days are more difficult than others, with the ache bringing her to her knees: "I can't say that I'm strong every day. I can't say that there aren't days when I feel like I can't survive to the next."
