Britney Spears fans are horrified after actor Columbus Short branded her parents "racist."
The actor/dancer has a short lived romance with the Grammy award-winning singer in 2003. Short detailed the fling in his autobiography Short Stories. The 38-year-old was among Britney's staff of backup dancers and choreographed some of her famous strikes.
They ultimately engaged in a temporary fling.
But the Scandal actor has published he overheard her parents - Lynne and Jamie Spears - refer to him as the "n-word."
"I was next to [Britney] while she was on the phone with them crying while she had it on speaker," Short mentioned.
He then claims Spears' parents asked her, "Why are you f***ing that [N-word]?" as Britney shook with embarrassment at her parents' phrases."
"Britney looked at me so apologetically, realizing I'd heard it," the Cadillac Records actor said. 'I shook my head and didn't say anything, because what was there to say?"
The Kansas City native alleges Spears "aggressively pursued him" ahead of the November 2003 release of her album In The Zone.
Britney "was on me like white on rice, and would not leave me alone the entire night," Short mentioned.
"Britney had her eyes on the prize and wasn't about to stop until she got what she wanted."
In his guide, Short wrote that they consummated the romance all through a shuttle to Rome.
"I really tried my best, but this girl put on the full-court press," he stated.
"We ended up being intimate that one time. I never slept with her again after that, though."
"This was a dangerous sexual alliance for every reason under sun, and I think that the worst part of it was that I was making the rumors an actual reality."
The Stomp the Yard superstar says his relationship with Spears crumbled after he dissatisfied her with a response all the way through a sport of "truth or dare."
"I was fired not too long after that, and Britney changed her number so I couldn't contact her," Short said.
After Short's allegations resurfaced, Britney's fans had been disgusted by way of the allegations.
"I mean messing with a white girl from the south things like this are expected. Doesn't make it anymore horrifying and disgusting," one fan wrote.
"Yea let’s get Britney a whole new management team ppl who actually care about her. At this point throw the family away!" a 2d added.
But one fan took some other view.
"Well at least he know Britney ain't a racist..." a 3rd chimed in.
